Interfaith Services + Media

As an interfaith minister I not only honor and see truth in all religions, I honor and see truth in all people. I see the personal religious experience as highly sacred. Religious or non-religious, I can help serve as a counselor between individual paths, beliefs and/ or their faiths.  I’ve performed worship services/ ceremonies in a variety of circumstances in traditional and non-traditional atmospheres.

Ministerial Media: Most of my professional life has been in music.  I’m a pianist and a two-time Emmy award winning composer & music director.  I also worked as an audio post supervisor at CBS.  I continue to create videos, compose and sound edit on various projects where media can make a difference.

The Invisible Made Visible:  Many times the effects of the invisible become reflective in the visible, which couldn’t have been accomplished without the other. Who or what reality would you like to become more reflective of?

Us & Them: The dialogue created was for a talk that I presented about a year ago.  I recently added visuals, voice-over, and music etc.  Basically, it’s about viewing the potential of the incomplete part from the perspective of the completed profound whole.

This Little Light Of Mine: This Little Light Of Mine is a video I recently produced/ music. This is in recognition of the inner gift, the inner spirit, beauty, light and love we all have. Let it Shine!!

The Gift Of Mastery:  The Gift Of Mastery celebrates the incredible opportunity we each have by mastering the gifts we’ve been given and doing so in partnership with God.

A PSA shot and edited to promote HELP USA’s efforts to help homeless veterans find safe housing and jobs.

Street Soccer NY trailer- In this production I’m music directing, sound editing and mixing. This film is about a NYC homeless soccer team that competes across country with other homeless teams. (Lane Crouse performed the sound design/ mix for the trailer. https://lanecrouse.wordpress.com/)

Co-Creating Within

I think each of us have the potential to become a living reality, a material manifestation of the God of Paradise.  This is an edited video (2:59) of a ten and a half minute presentation I performed one Sunday morning at the Beford Presbyterian Church in Bedford, NY.  Here I use music (along with Tony Jefferson on drums, Mike McGuirk on bass and Tim Quimette on trumpet) to demonstrate that what we do in the art of creating jazz (and/ or other forms of music) is very similar to the personal religious experience.  We get creative by using whatever and wherever we find ourselves to express a creative response into something tangible, something that can be shared, recognized, seen, heard or felt.  At the last supper Jesus did something similar; he simply used bread and wine which was commonly found on any table to create a new reality of spiritual significance that forever changed our world.  I think that when we co-create with the God within we can literally reveal a material manifestation of the invisible parts of the co-creative act.
