Choose your Officiant Wisely!

I’m very fortunate to have been married for 28 years.  When I look back, I can recall a wonderful wedding day, filled with much love and many blessings. The only regret I had was...

The Unity Candle is a wonderful addition to your ceremony,  but sometimes it can be problematic when it’s performed outdoors. It was a privilege to be a part of Chitra and Felipe’s Wedding.  (all photos courtesy of Michael Polito Photography) They are a wonderful loving couple who began their new life together with a beautiful and unique Hindu-Christian wedding ceremony.   They brought together two hands, two hearts, two families within the richness of their two profound faiths.                           We began with a prayer to Lord Ganesha (the remover of obstacles) and a prayer to our Heavenly...

How wonderful it is to be a part of a loving couples wedding day!  I’m very thankful to know them and so appreciative of their kind words: (Most recent reviews on the knot) Rev. Gary Deinstadt A+ I am so lucky to say that Rev. Gary officiated at my wedding! When my now husband and I first met with him we knew he was “the one”. His down to earth and easy going personality was just what we wanted. He took the time to get to know us and kept in contact with us throughout all of our planning. It made us feel like we actually...

Hand Fasting

Posted by on Jul 29, 2013 in Blog | 0 comments

Both Michelle and Robb’s mother’s assisted in the wrapping of their hands.  This ceremony originated from the ancient Celtic ritual known as hand-fasting. It’s a beautiful ritual symbolizing the binding of two lives together as one and when you include family, you’re not only uniting two people, you’re uniting two families.   (Photo courtesy of Cassi Claire photography)                         OR…This is a personal favorite of mine.  Here is...
